The Bison Cheerleading team is a coed, collegiate program that teaches young men and women to excel at the fast-growing sport of cheerleading. We aspire to be leaders, motivators, teachers and positive role models in the community.

The Bison Cheerleading team has recently returned from the CheerExpo Nationals in Halifax, Nova Scotia - March 26-28th. This was the Bisons first time competing in CheerExpo.

The Bison Cheerleading team placed;

1st in the Open Division!

1st overall in Level 6!

HIGHEST SCORE of the competition!

The Bison Cheerleading team also traveled to Toronto in early December for the University and Open National Cheerleading Championships. The Bison competed in the Large Coed University division.

The Bison Cheerleading team is currently seeking 2010-2011 sponsorship. The Bison is a non-funded, university program that relies solely on fundraising and sponsorship to purchase equipment, clothing and supplies as well as reduce the cost of out of province competition expenses. The Bison team functions as an excellent form of advertisement as we have appeared in many public functions. Our most recent event was the Winnipeg Blue Bomber half time show. We have also performed in the Harlem Globetrotters half time show, appeared on City TV multiple times, received two awards of outstanding achievement from Mayor Sam Katz and we display our sponsors' logos at football games, on our website and at all of our community events.

OUR PLATINUM SPONSORS business logo will be displayed on the TOP of the homepage (this page) of the Bison Cheerleading website for the 2010-2011 season. Platinum sponsors will also;

• Receive a full page advertisement in the Bison Cheerleading competition program AND Stunt Evolution program
• Receive a performance by the Bison Cheerleading team
• Receive tickets to all Bison Cheerleading events
• Business logo on the Bison Cheerleading apparel to be worn at all football and basketball games as well as special functions
• Large colour team photo
